Net books shrinking

Dell, HP, Acer, Hcl, Leneovo have launched their ultra slim, ultra model half net books. The new Intel atom microprocessor has shrunken the laptop into net books.

Net books consume 20% less power than laptop and 60% smaller than desktop.

The battery life of net books are 7 to 8 hours, the screen size of net books varies from 10 inch to 12 inch.

Net books are affordable, work on operating system such as windows XP. The weight of a net book is 1.3kg while laptop weighs up to 2kg. Net books are also called as second PC and have sale of 60 million globally. The disadvantage of net books is they have a lack of broad band and delayed 3G spectrum, no internal DVD and optical drive.
