US and China on trade talks

The US and China trade team members are currently meeting in Hangzhou city of China, which is expected to be tough for both sides. US is already running on a unbearable budget deficit which it needs to cut down. And one of the primary need for that is to raise the US exports and reduce US imports.
And China is the key trade partner of US which has a big trade balance against US i.e, China allows lesser US imports into China while US is liberal in allowing Chinese exports into US. The US team will be working very hard for the next few days to bring some sanity to the trade gap issues, and that might not be easy given the need for China to protect the falling exports.
