Karzai is elected Afghan President

The UN election committe has now announced that Hamid Karza is the elected President of Afghanistan for the next four years. The selection has been announced due to the official withdrawal of Abdullah from the re-run race,scheduled for this week.
This might pave the way for the movement of additional troops from US into Afghanistan.
