UK nuclear submarine numbers to go down

The UK Brown government has decided to take a lead role in nuclear arms reduction, with an offer to the UN to reduce the nuclear submarine count. UK currently has four nuclear submarines and it is proposing to cut it down to three.
This could really be a good initiative which needs to be followed by the nuclear majors like US, Russia, China and France. The nuclear weapons of all these countries can destroy the world at least ten times, as per nuclear experts. That only means that nuclear weapons reduction that is being initiated by UK is just the tip of the iceberg and the biggies have to move swiftly and decisively in the coming years, if they are really worried about the world.
