Del Petro is US Open champion

The year 2009 US Open tennis championship will be remembered for various special reasons. The much expected Rafel Nadal was thrown out of the semi-finals by a new face Del Petro few days back.
Then came the shocker when Venus Williams, the world No 1, was sent out of the semi finals match due to her anger outburst. Her outburst made the judge to give one bonus point to her opponent that was a decider point.
And yesterday, in the men’s final match, the reigning champion and the most expected player, Roger Federer was handed out a shocking defeat by Del Petro. Things do keep changing always, in sports too.
