Andre Agassi, has admitted the use of a recreational drug called crystal meth. In 1997, his assistant Slim introduced him to the highly-addictive amphetamine drug.
Agassi continued the drug when he found out that he failed the drug test conducted by ATP for Class 2 recreational drug. When Agassi took the drug he felt a lot of energy in him and so alive.
Agassi feared that by admitting his intake of drug he may lose his name, fame and everything. Now, Agassi feels this truth will end all these and is ashamed of his mistake.
Agassi was world’s number one after winning US Open for the second time, grand slam winner for eight times, Wimbledon for once, Australian Open thrice.
No action has been taken so far by the ATP against Agassi.
