Home sales down for the third month
The number of homes sale fell for the third month of July says a report. The report is a call for the new federal government and to follow the three point plan. The three point will help the federal government to come out off the problem. The residential builders survey showed the sale of new homes which had a fall of 7%.
The decline of the new home sales explains the need for a housing action plan from the government. The efforts needs to be redoubling which will lessen the efforts of the regulation, development charging and taxation. Federal level involvement is necessary for the action of sale else the Australia dwelling shortage will increase. The three policies include a housing cost reduction program,a development ministry recognition and support for small business.
The sale of detached house fell by 7.3% during the month of July 2010 and the multi unit sector had a fell of 4.1%. The new building home for 2010 has been affected by high interest rates and fiscal stimulus which is negative. The sales of new homes saw a 4% raise in south Australia says the survey reports.
