UK justice department staff may lose jobs
About 15,000 Britain’s Justice jobs are under threat of losing their jobs. The staff may lose their jobs as the government is planning to reduce its budget from the month of October. The reduction of the number of job is a part of governments deficit reduction plan. The reduction of staff will make other members work effectively and efficiently said the director general of finance Ann Beasley.
The redundancies seems to be inevitable as the government cuts about euro 9 billion budget by cutting jobs. A letter which was leaked to the public and commercial services (PCS) revealed the jobs cuts. A detail reports about the staff losing jobs occurred in Telegraph recently. The department and the treasury are under negotiations and more details will be coming out later on.
The headquarters and administrative savings are extremely challenging and both alone will come around euro 450 million. There will be many savings made quickly within 12 to 24 months and every opportunity for better,efficiency will be seen. Out of 80,000staff at ministry 15,000 will be at a risk of losing their jobs confirmed the Union.
