US economy to grow slowly in 2010

The consumer spending is showing signs of stabilizing and there are also signs of reduction in head cuts by US employers. The US government is still to do a lot more for bringing back the housing sector to growth path, and still the unemployment levels are around 9.7%.
So analysts are expecting only a moderate growth for the US economy in this year, though it would be far better than the recession it faced in 2009. The US economy may see only a marginal decline in the unemployment levels by the end of 2010, as companies would not hire more people till there is confirmation of economic stability.
