Second pregnancy needs to be delayed to avoid complications
The research shows that there must at least be around 18 months gap between two deliveries by a mother. The research is very particular to those women whose water broke early. The premature rupture of membranes is the women’s water breakage. The water is broken for many mothers before the pregnancy cycle is completed and those people have such complications.
The American journal of Obstetrics and gynecology had published the article on this topic. The influence of risk is seen to be higher with reduced length of time between the pregnancies. The research was reviewed among 2, 00,000 women who had two to three children. The year of these women having delivery was around 1989 to 1997. The black women had their pre-term rupture around 3% and white women had only 1%.
The complication in the pregnancy increased for those whose water broke earlier. The same complication had continued in their subsequent pregnancies. The interval between two pregnancies is necessary for full recovery. The full recovery will also avoid the complication in the second delivery. The complication is related to chronic inflammation for those having premature rupture.
So if you are planning for your second or third pregnancy, it would be worthwhile to consult your family doctor and take their expert advise. It would save you and also do lot of good to your next baby. All the very best.
