Volunteers rate go up in US.

As per the latest survey conducted by the Current Population Survey, an organization that conducts survey on around 50,000 households every month, has come with the study that the number of volunteers and the rate of volunteers have gone up this year in US.
Volunteers are people who do work for which they might not be paid, barring the expenses incurred for the work. Mostly the work would be done for religious programs, educational services and social services.
It is worth mentioning that the women volunteers contribute more than their male counterparts. The employed volunteers were found to be more in number than the unemployed ones. And most of the volunteers had good educational background.
