Bring vision to blind people using optical radar
Innovative optical radar has been developed by scientists who help blinds to see. The scientists say the optical radar system helps man oeuvre blind people especially. The optical radar was being come out by Ben Gurion university team which is situated in Israel. The optical radar system is incorporated in a computer which even has two video cameras and scanning light source.
The presence of these instruments is to help the blind to know the obstacles. The alerts of the obstacles are warned to the blind by giving some audible alerts. The obstacles which are over head are detected by the computer system by scanning the surroundings depth. The depth of the surroundings is scanned by the computer system by two angles. Some of the blind people use sticks with sensor dog, some pet to know the obstacle in front of them. some pets sometimes bring many difficulties to face if not trained properly.
Each and every system has its own advantages and its own disadvantages say the scientists. A trained dog needs extensive training so as to guide a blind person and the dog can work barely for seven years. The optical radar is designed such that it can detect the obstacles just like a real human eye. The optical radar is user friendly and allows the blind to use both the hands while using the instrument. Hope the instrument will help the blind people to see the real color vision like all of us.
