Women need to sleep more than Men

Women need 20 minutes more sleep than men. The British sleep expert found this sleep dosage requirement through a detailed study. The women’s brain has to do a lot of multi tasking work compared to men. The women’s brain are wired differently, very complex than that of men. The sleep helps oneself recover from repairs and tiredness. The cortex of the brain during deep sleep retires from the senses and goes to the recovery mode. The cortex is responsible for thought, memory and language.

The brain is used to the maximum during the day and gets rest during sleep. The women’s brain is designed such a way that they tend to do multiple tasks at a time and very flexible. Tasks such as decision making and lateral thinking involve more sleep.
